Description

Increasingly rare and difficult source, gentlemans Rolex 18ct/SS DateJust with Turn-O-Graph bezel. Beautiful, refinished ivory dial & matching 18ct/SS 'Jubilee' bracelet. Lovely example of this much sought after model.

Case

Stainless steel case in very fine condition with 'Turn-O-Graph yellow gold bezel and screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown also in gold. Rear cover is perfect, showing no signs of incorrect entry. Clearly, this watch has been very carefully looked after during its 52 years. Case reference number: 1625.

Case dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 12mm thick and 44mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautiful, ivory coloured dial has applied gold 'baton' hour markers, matching gold hands and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, T Swiss Made T". Date aperture at 3 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal is brand new and flawless with no chips or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

18ct/SS 'Jubilee' bracelet in excellent condition showing some stretch/play in links but certainly in better condition than many much newer, sapphire DateJust's we have seen. Bracelet will currently fit approx. 7.5" wrist or can be adjusted. Extra links available at trade cost.

Movement

Automatic model 1625, calibre 1560 signed Rolex movement in very fine condition. Has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
