Description

Gentleman's Vintage Rolex Oyster Royal in stainless steel with beautiful white (re-finished) dial and dark brown leather strap.

Case

Stainless Steel case is in lovely condition with no marks, nicks, scratches, etc. - referb'd by our watchmaker during its recent service. Original 'Twinlock' winding crown screws down nice and tightly and rear cover is perfect, showing no signs of damage or incorrect entry. There is an inscription on the back of the watch - I believe this watch was given to someone as a gift, it reads: "A A Collie 20-4-54". Case model number: 6144, serial number: 786xxx.

Case dimensions are 32mm in diameter (not including crown), 10.5mm thick and 39mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautifully re-finished white dial with a mixture of applied 'dagger' & numbered hour markers with Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Hour and minute hands are 'Leaf' type along with a contrasting blued-steel centre seconds hand - these are original to the watch. Dial is signed 'Rolex, Oyster Royal, Shock Resisiting' with black printed outer minute track and 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock.

Crystal is standard unbreakable Plexiglas and is brand new - replaced at recent service.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a new ZRC leather strap finished indark brown with a non-original Rolex stainless steel buckle.

Movement

All original, hand-winding/manual Rolex movement, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Movement has just been fully overhauled. Full 12 months warranty.
