#51460 - Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox Date 'Bumper' Automatic in Yellow Gold-Filled Case With Original Silver Dial Year: c1960 Price: SOLD Shipping (Within UK): FREE Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Gentlemen's Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox in lovely original condition with mechanical alarm in perfect working order, sounding loud and crisp. This is the much rarer large or jumbo sized version of the Memovox and is an automatic rather than manual and also has date function. Case Yellow gold-filled case is in excellent all round condition with no signs of damage or repairs and no wear-hrough. Original JL winding crowns for both mainspring power and alarm power are still present. No signs of heavy polishing to the rear as serial number and other text is still very crisp. Serial no: 1133111. Case dimensions are 37mm in diameter (not including crown), 13mm thick and 46mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Stunning, original silver dial has applied 'baton' type hour markers with raised gold Roman Numerals at 12, 6 and 9 o'clock with dotted inner minute markers and matching hands. Dial is signed 'Jaeger LeCoultre, Memovox' with 'T Swiss Made T' at 6 o'clock. Dial and hands have been re-lumed at some point in the past but lume is faded and no longer glows. Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is brand new and flawless. Bracelet/Strap We have fitted a new black Hirsch 'Genuine Alligator' Louisana Alligator strap to the watch with complementing gold-filled buckle. These straps are a very high quality item and not the usual rubbish - RRP: £105. We are Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost).
